  • Lizzy Harrison Loses Control by Pippa Wright | Goodreads
  • Devil’s Charge by Michael Arnold | Goodreads

I couldn’t resist popping into the charity shops when I went out in search of lunch earlier in the week, which is when I came across Lizzy Harrison. Being on my wishlist I grabbed it. Devil’s Charge was unexpected and I now have book one on the way. The series has been compared to Sharpe and is set in the English Civil War time so will be a first for me and I’m interested.

  • Number Ten by Sue Townsend | Goodreads
  • A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin | Goodreads
  • Graceling by Kristin Cashore | Goodreads

The others.. library books. Took back all but one of the few I had already and brought these home. I already own Clash of Kings but the text is unreadable so I picked this up from the library, hoping to get the book series boxset when it’s released in July. Number Ten was spur of the moment and Graceling I have to read. I can request any book from any Pembrokeshire library with no charge – the power!

  • Enchantment by Charlotte Abel | Goodreads
  • Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel | Goodreads
  • The Pirates! In An Adventure With Moby Dick by Gideon Defoe | Goodreads
  • Barcode: Legend of Apollo by Kashif Ross | Goodreads

Two freebies, a NetGalley I couldn’t resist, and a Kindle Daily Deal I couldn’t miss. The two freebies were on my wishlist, so I snapped those up, especially Barcode which I’ve had my eye on for a while now. Dearly, Beloved was a must-request when I spotted it on NetGalley. I really love Lia Habel and have wanted to read this one for too long. Pirates.. blame Hanna. She’s got me all intrigued. I do need to get hold of book one but I couldn’t resist nabbing this for 99p in the daily deal.
